Is Data Protection important for Swiss companies?

A survey conducted by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences* showed that almost 80% of Swiss companies considered Data Protection as very important.

Furthermore, Swiss data protection law is also currently under revision. The new legislation is expected to come into force by the end of 2020 and will adopt many of the stricter European provisions of the GDPR. Therefore, it is worthwhile to tackle data protection in your company already today.
